Student Reporting & Conduct Policies
Report Your Concerns
Students wishing to submit written complaints regarding student concerns may do so with the Dean of Students. Academic Appeals should follow the process identified in the Academic Catalog before submitting concerns to the Dean of Students.
In order to provide a safe and accessible community, SJC has established the Student Code of Conduct located in the Student Handbook. All students are expected to comply with the policies established in the Code. Anyone that has witnessed a possible violation of the Code of Conduct should report the concern to the Dean of Students.
If you encounter an individual whose behavior disrupts academic instruction or raises safety concerns for students, staff, or property, please file a Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT) Report. Use the BIT form for non-emergency situations or for documentation following a 911 call.
Submit a Title IX Report if you experience or witness sex-based harassment, sexual assault/violence, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, or retaliation. While the incident must be disclosed under the Clery Act, the survivor's identity will remain confidential.
